At Rejus, we’re committed to maintaining high standards across every aspect of the cleaning services we provide. That includes investing in the skills, knowledge and professional development of the people responsible for delivering and managing those services.
We’re therefore pleased to recognise the recent achievement of our Cleaning Manager, who has successfully completed his BICSc Licence to Practice.
What is BICSc?
The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) is a leading professional body for the UK cleaning industry. BICSc provides training, education and guidance designed to promote consistent standards and best practice across the sector.
A BICSc Licence to Practice demonstrates that a cleaning professional has undertaken recognised training and developed an understanding of the correct methods, procedures and standards required within professional cleaning.
For Rejus, qualifications such as this form an important part of our approach to maintaining consistent standards across the sites we manage.
What does a Cleaning Manager do?
|
A Cleaning Manager plays an important role in ensuring that cleaning services and our cleaning team operates effectively and consistently. Their responsibilities can include managing cleaning teams, organising workloads, monitoring cleaning standards and supporting staff to ensure the correct procedures are followed. They also play a key role in maintaining safe working practices, addressing issues when they arise and communicating with clients to make sure their requirements are being met. In a facilities management environment, the role goes beyond simply overseeing whether an area has been cleaned. A Cleaning Manager needs to understand how different environments and surfaces should be maintained, how cleaning teams should work safely and efficiently, and how standards can be monitored and improved over time. |

Supporting Professional Standards at Rejus
Completing the BICSc Licence to Practice strengthens the knowledge and expertise available within our commercial cleaning team and reinforces the professional standards we aim to maintain across our services.
It also reflects the importance we place on continued professional development. By supporting our people in gaining recognised industry qualifications, we can continue to develop our expertise and ensure our teams are equipped to deliver the high standards our clients expect.
We’re proud to celebrate this achievement and look forward to seeing that knowledge put into practice across the Rejus team and the sites we manage.
Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement.
